Cattail (also known as bulrush) is an extraordinary material: waterproof, ultralight, and extremely durable. It will be safe both on the sand and on the grass – and it’s so easy to clean! It is definitely one of a kind, woven locally by Polish craftspeople. Basketry Master Helena cuts every leaf manually and then carefully weaves the bags.

Helena Rogala – Cattail Queen – one of the last remaining basket makers who weaves unique cattail bags for us. We have cooperated with Helena for 11 years. Along with her family, she cuts cattail manually in muddy ponds. Then she cleans the material uses it to weave her magic!
