Strawball PREMIUM is an unique basket - limited edition. This shape of basket is very rare.
This is a basket for a person who gives special attention and a value to history of craft - especially Polish. Strawball basket is like a good memory of 'old, good times', holidays in a grandmother's house with a garden and fields, the smell of the harvest at the end of the summer. Do you have these memories too? We have to tell you that this is the end of this specific basket, you can buy the last pieces to have it in your special collection.
Jadwiga and Krzysztof, our masters are weaving together - one of them is preparing and dividing material and the second person is weaving, so we can say, that you need four hands to make this basket. But you can make it also by your own, it is not obligatory. It's just a part of a social face of basketry, which was a common craft.
The strawball is a unique basket woven with decorative loops. You will be delighted with its beauty and natural feel – it is made of rye straw in the spirit of zero waste. It combines functionality with timeless design. It is definitely one of a kind, woven locally by Polish masters of craft.

The strawball is 100% handmade, so the dimensions may vary by 1 or 2 cm.
The product contains a lid with a handle.
Bottom diameter – the widest space: 20 x 30 cm.
Basketry Masters Jadwiga and Krzysztof Ciemieniewicz, always with smiles on their faces, weave using rye straw and the looping technique. Jadwiga, along with her family, cuts and cleans the straw manually. We have created special basketry needles based on the tools used by her.
